Introduction

 

The company was established in 2002. The company founder teamed up with a Russian supply

company in order to provide Design, Technology Transfer and to supply Cost Effective elements of

the Process Solution.

The company is based on sound Technical knowledge and Practical experience. We specialise in the

Field/ Laboratory Testing, Design, Fabrication, Supply, Installation and Commissioning of Capital

Equipment & Plant in the Minerals Processing Industry i.e.: – Filtration, Flotation and Sedimentation

Equipment. We take a systems based approach and, therefore, provide the client with a process

solution, rather than purely equipment supply.

 

Design Philosophy

 

Historical experience indicate that many plants in the Solid/ Liquid Separation industry were

ineffective and did not achieve the desired results. We ascribe this to ineffective methods of

determining parameters for the design and sizing of equipment.

Our philosophy, therefore, has been to carry out Dynamic Testing on a small scale to determine the

Process Design parameters. In this way the equipment sizes can be selected with absolute certainty,

ensuring that, when full-scale equipment is installed and commissioned, the required results will be

achieved.

Frequently, unattainable targets are set by the End User. Pilot Testing highlights this fact, allowing the

overall design to be adjusted to what can be achieved practically. Over the years we have built up a

vast database of results. Therefore, in the case where a project is being considered where

insufficient test sample is available, we are capable of relatively accurate equipment selection using

information from our database.

 

This philosophy is borne out by the close correlation in results between our Pilot Testing and the

Commissioned Plant. The Pilot Testing is paramount and is carried out on a reimbursable basis.
